PREVIEW: China vs. Varsity Blues on SSN

The University of Toronto women's hockey team will face the Chinese national team in an exhibition game at the Varsity Centre Wednesday night at 7 pm ET live on SSN.
Team China is in Canada playing a string of exhibition games in preparation for the Olympic Winter Games, which will open Feb. 12, 2010 in Vancouver.
The Varsity Blues are 3-0 thus far in pre-season play. On Sept. 27 they beat the Etobicoke Dolphins 1-0 in the championship game of the 2009 Marion Hilliard Tournament. Alie Brind'Amour-McClure scored the game's only goal.
Toronto, led by head coach Karen Hughes, will open their Ontario University Athletics regular season on Oct. 10 with a home game against the UOIT Ridgebacks.
Last season the Varsity Blues lost out to the Queen's Gaels in the OUA quarterfinals.
While in Ontario, Team China will play a total of 21 games against Ontario Women's Hockey Association teams as well as national-ranked CIS teams.
China will face-off against the York University Lions in a pair of games this weekend. Later in October they will travel to Waterloo, Ont. to play the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.
